The ultimate English gentleman’s country estate car, a 1965 Aston Martin DB5 shooting brake, is being offered at Bonhams‘ avarice-inducing Aston Martin sale on May 21st at the Aston Martin Works Service in Newport Pagnell, UK.

The term shooting brake, enjoying something of a revival lately, refers to custom built two-door luxury station wagons made for use by hunters and other sportsmen of which the Aston Martin is the ultimate example.

The custom built two-door luxury station wagon made for an English gentleman is expected to fetch up to $485,000

One of only 12 DB5 Vantage sports saloons converted into shooting brakes by coachbuilder Harold Radford, the DB5 finished in Goodwood Green with a red leather interior is expected to fetch up to $485,000.

Now all you need is a title and an English country house.
