Last month we told you about the cool new Audi Trimaran concept. Now an even more badass boat design based on a limited edition Bugatti Veyron has come to our attention.
Details are scarce, but the super-sleek motoryacht takes its cues from the ultra-exclusive Sang Bleu Grand Sport edition of the supercar, the very last special edition of the Veyron to be built.
The 30-foot Sang Bleu yacht concept is the work of one Ben Walsh, we believe the fellow from GM’s Advanced Design studio in the UK who worked on the award-winning Cadillac Converj concept.
A luxurious and super-sleek motoryacht taking design cues from the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Sang Bleu
The Sang Bleu yacht, with a carbon fiber and aluminum exterior and an interior every bit as luxurious as the million-dollar motorcar – but doubtless even more expensive – is in our opinion a design triumph, a stylish object in and of itself.
The concept of a Bugatti yacht is not as farfetched as it might sound; in the 1920s the famed French marque’s founder Ettore Bugatti came up with the idea of an exclusive high-powered motorboat designed to cross the Atlantic in speed and comfort.
Alas it was never built, but we’d take a bet that this one will be. The smart money says place your order now.
