Bugatti just got the greenlight from parent company Volkswagen AG to move ahead with production on the $1.4 million 16C Galibier sedan, the famed marque’s first four-door model.
Originally shown as a concept vehicle at the 2010 Geneva auto show, the Galibier, equipped with a 1,000-hp engine, gets its name from one of France’s most treacherous Alpine passes.

There will oddly enough also be a hybrid version. Even if you’ve got an extra $1.4 million to place an order however you shouldn’t expect delivery of your beautiful beast until 2013 at the earliest.
