  • The Wrap: 2011 New York Auto Show

    More info

The Jacob Javits convention center served as the backdrop for cars, cocktails, evening gowns and $1,000-a-plate dinners at the East Side House Settlement's annual New York Auto Show charity event the other night, affording a select group the opportunity to view the show in advance of the hoi polloi. DRIVEN sent the crack squad from Man on the Move to scout the scene....

Classic British marque Lotus was the primary sponsor this year and had a handfull of new, old and future models like the 1977 Series I Esprit (above) and the 2012 Evora S on display for all to see and drool over.

The Verdict: Perhaps the only thing that can possibly make a semi-private auto show viewing any better is the ability to do it while sipping on a Heineken.
