Two iconic British auto marques have teamed up for a special edition Mini produced in collaboration with Rolls-Royce. Call it the best of both worlds.

Set to debut at the upcoming Auto Shanghai show, the exclusive conveyance, dubbed the Mini Inspired by Goodwood, will be limited to just 1,000 examples worldwide for delivery in spring 2012.

The Rolls-Royce Motor Cars design team in Goodwood, England collaborated both the exterior and interior of the car with their characteristic flawless workmanship.

Exclusive Rolls-Royce colors were used both inside (Cornsilk leather) and out (Black Diamond Metallic) while the dashboard and door handle surfaces are finished in Rolls’ signature Walnut Burr wood.

Powered by a turbocharged l.6-liter four-cylinder engine good for 181 hp, it uses a hell of a lot less gas than your Phantom.

Drive yourself home, James.
