The ultra-rare 1965 Ford GT40 Works Prototype Roadster is expected to fetch up to $4 million

First up: this ultra-rare 1965 Ford GT40 Works Prototype Roadster, one of just five examples built by Ford Advanced Vehicle Operations in the UK.

The car was first tested at the 1965 Le Mans trials, driven by Sir John Whitmore, prior to being selected as a Works entrant in the Targa Florio.

So what are we talking price-wise? RM is looking at $4 million on the high side.
