Two French design houses, Thierry Lasry and L’Ecurie, have collaborated on a limited edition collection of sunglasses designed in homage to the late, great Paul Newman.
The sleek aviator-style “79″ shades are modeled on the ones worn by Newman when he competed in the famed 24 Hours of Le Mans race in France in 1979 at the wheel of a Porsche 911 Turbo.

In addition to the tortoiseshell version Newman favored, Lasry is offering versions in black, red and blue. Each comes with a special edition motorsports motif drawstring bag in the colors of the French flag.
