It’s one of the world’s most incredible picnicking experiences. You are, of course, something of a connoisseur.
You set off from Marrakech’s La Mamounia, an opulent 18th century palace – turned luxury resort, in a custom Range Rover with basket full of goodies from the hotel’s Michelin-starred chefs.
Your guide lays out a hand-woven blanket and cushions in a choice spot overlooking the Atlas Mountains, lights the Moroccan lanterns and begins the proceedings with a traditional tea service.

Nature puts on an incredible show, solely for your enjoyment, apparently; the only other living creatures around are of the picturesque, furry variety. Pass the champagne, please.
Then it’s back in the Range Rover so the chauffeur can whisk you back to your ridiculously luxurious suite; and perhaps a dip in the eye-popping pool (below) before dinner. This could get to be a habit.
