Put Your Foot Down in Lime Rock

Following a two-year hiatus during which we had to head down south for our adrenaline fix, AMG's high-octane Driving Academy returns to Connecticut's Lime Rock Park in May with the wicked new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG supercar.

The gullwinged beauty will make its first appearance at Lime Rock, where race-tested instructors will teach drivers to train and use their reflexes for maximum thrills and performance on closed-off circuits – i.e., sans speed limits.

Meanwhile down in Birmingham, Alabama Porsche is launching the 911 GT3 Cup Experience at the Porsche Sport Driving School at Barber Motorsports Park, featuring the most successful race car ever produced – the 2011 version of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup racer (below).

New England or the Old South – either way speed addicts are in for a hell of a spring.
