Ducati is about as close as you can get to pure sex on two wheels. That being the case, draping the Italian superbike in nude femaledom seems superfluous. And yet of course it’s a perfect pairing.

For the Italian moto marque’s new art project, Desmo, they commissioned photographer Elizabeth Raab to create a limited edition series of images featuring some of their famed machines mounted by sartorially-challenged sirens wearing nothing more than a little eye makeup.

Gratuitous? Hell no – in fact it’s a chance to, ahem, “explore the multiple relationships between the designed and the natural,” especially the way “the artist has approached and juxtaposed the abstract qualities of the organic and mechanical forms.” Also, we read Playboy for the articles.
