Watch geeks get geared up about Baselworld, the annual Swiss timepiece trade show taking place this week, as if it were the second coming.
We can all look forward to the unveiling of Breitling‘s new design in its collaboration with Bentley however – the Ice Record Edition.
“The thrill of a supercar flying over the ice at 205.48 mph”
The wicked-looking watch pays homage to driver Juha Kankkunen’s recent feat of breaking the world ice speed record on the frozen Baltic sea near Oulu, Finland in a Bentley Continental GTC Supersports.
The titanium red and black wrist machine manages to convey the thrill of a supercar of that caliber flying over the ice at 205.48 mph – no mean feat in either case. Check out the video to see Kankkunen kicking it.
